Judy Leane is a Qualified Senior Pilates Instructor, a physiotherapist and is a personal trainer. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share on the retreat. The fusion of Yoga and Pilates gives tremendous body awareness of core strength and stability. Twice daily yoga, mornings are more dynamic and attention to alignment in the poses, afternoons the focus is restorative yoga to bring balance and harmony to the mind and body. Meditation is done daily, pilates integrated, yoga nidra, relaxation and time out to relax and reflect. "Bali Yoga Retreat Testimonials"The
best thing about the yoga which was taught by Sue was the depth of
explaining of instruction of all asanas and that she was willing and
able (thanks to her extensive training and experience) to go to for
each participant. She is such a very giving lady. The same goes for
Judy teaching the Pilates. Terry Simpson, Perth, Australia The Bali Yoga Retreat hs been a
wonderful opportunity to escape the stresses of our daily lives. The
daily practice in the midst of the beauty and sounds of the forest
prepared us and opened our hearts and minds. In this state we fully
appreciated the Balinese spiritual rituals. I hope I can take the peace
and serenity into my life at home.
Carolyn Bowra, Sydney, Australia
I came to
the Bali retreat without expectations or knowledge about yoga retreats.
This was the first I had been on From day one everyone was extremely
friendly and the accommodation was amazing. More than I every expected.
I came with less yoga experience than the others but I didn't feel that
this hindered me in any way once the classes began. Sue explained
things and assisted with adjustments at every level and I think this
really helped me grow in my yoga practice. I liked how Pilates
complimented the yoga. I felt a much greater spiritual component to the
retreat than expected. it was fantastic to learn and experience some of
the Balinese culture. I had a fantastic and wonderful experience here
and I would definitely recommend it to others.
Cara Caulkins, USA It was pure bliss! The teachers were very
professional and experienced. Thesetting and services was five star
standard. Anne Marie, Sydney, Australia The location
itself was paradise, the rituals were beautiful and accommodation was
exquisite. The service was perfect. Quiet, gentle, extremely nice. The
was delicious and well presented. The yoga space was outstanding. The
group was precious. Helene Sitbon, France The retreat
was an experience exceeding my expectations. The resort is paradise
with all the mod cons. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly,
quiet and efficient. Fro the welcome drink to the beautiful closing
dinner, all meals and service was excellent. As a novice to yoga, the
classes were well paced and well instructed yet challenging enough for
me to come away feeling inspired to continue and invigorated. I've
totally and completely soaked up the serenity and beauty of this place
and together with the group activities I feel like I've shared a
special expereince. Thank you Sue, Judy and Claude for making it all
possible.
